Camilas the host was nothing but amazing. I came with my daughter and two elderly parents and he was nothing but hospitable by always checking up on us. Our room was so amazing felt so comfortable with all the amenities made us feel like we were home. I can not wait to come back to Negambo on my next vacation.

This guesthouse is run by a lovely family and sparkling clean. The aircon worked well, so did the hot water. Breakfast was massive and super yummy. It's only 700m to Negombo bus terminal where I took a bus to Sigiriya. I got lots of tips for travelling around Sri Lanka and the owner stayed up past midnight on a public holiday to welcome me when my plane arrived late and even offered I could leave my winter hiking gear with them whilst travelling. Honestly, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Villa Shade certainly felt like coming home. We stayed for 3 nights. This place is a beautiful labour of love by Shiraj and Deepika. Full of Srilankan herbs, spices, fruit and vegetables, the garden highlights the natural beauty of Srilanka. Breakfast is delightful experience with a combination of natural juice, fruits and traditional Srilankan sweet pastries. Home cooked dinner is typically Srilankan and must be tried if you want the authentic experience. On our first day we used the bikes to cycle to negombo town and the beach. On the 2nd day Shiraj took us to the coconut toddy field to show us how toddy was extracted. After a lovely toddy, he took us to see how cinnamon was prepared with humanity. sustainability and respect. Highly recommended. You will leave experiencing typical Srilankan hospitality and a full heart and stomach 🥰

What a lovely find! The hotel offers a perfect blend of cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. My room was pristine and cozy, with everything I needed. The peaceful atmosphere made it ideal for rest and reflection. Breakfast was a highlight — fresh ingredients and great coffee. I was in Sri Lanka for 47 days and this was our last accommodation. Without a doubt it was the best of all. Incredible the cleanliness and the modernity of the facilities I felt at home. You have an apartment for yourself with kitchen, living room, TV, washing machine and air conditioning, it's perfect! Thanks to the family in charge for everything and I hope you can continue with this since it is very pleasant to find these experiences and the breakfast is also 10/10. It may be a little far from Negombo but with pick me a tuk tuk makes everything easier.
