The location worked well for the safari — quiet and private, but still close enough to shops and restaurants. Getting around was easy, and we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. The hosts were friendly, easy to reach, and quick to help with anything we asked. We booked our Safari with them and they gave us a reasonable price. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everything matched the description. Overall, a very good experience. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable villa stay.

We stayed with Kasun and Nirosha and they were amazing hosts. We were met with ginger tea and pancakes and had a big spacious room and bathroom to ourselves. Kasun organised a safari for us also where he came as out guide! He was amazing as our driver as well, he brought us to the many places we needed to go! The homestay was only about 30mins drive from Yala national park and we had a brilliant day on safari as well. They were so accommodating with everything we asked for.

The room was comfortable, clean and we had a lovely bathroom.Our room had a fabulous view of the lake. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and a great place for bird watching. The food is excellent, we ate in the restaurant, having delicious barbecued fish and chicken the first and local deviled dishes the second.They also organized the professional Yala National Park Safari Tours. You will booked the Cottage they are asked you to do the Safari Tours.So easy to booked the safari like this. If you would like to go for a safari in Sri Lanka choose these guys. Good service, good communication. They are really taking care of you on a safari. They know where to find the wished animals.Our guide was very cheerful, energetic, spoke good English, and very informative about the park and animals. He was able to spot small and big animals alike, and a good tracker...We saw 3 leopards, sloth bear elephants and many other wildlife and lot of birds.The safari is truly great and I think it is doesn't matter which part of the day are you choose. My tip is if you would like to go for other excursions ask them because they have a really good connections! They are also great if you need transfer! Highly recommended!

Lovely warm welcome despite us being early, stunning location from bungalow across the rice field, excellent aircon, great hot powerful shower,. Stayed in a cute bungalow with nice covered terrace to relax on. Had a freshly cut coconut from the tree as a welcome, you could not have got it fresher. Owners are very welcoming and friendly with great knowledge of the area and safari. Breakfast was traditional and freshly made. Exceptional value for money and we would highly recommend staying there for a friendly comfortable stay

I loved my stay here! The property was very clean and colourful and was in a great location. It was near to 4 national parks and next to the beach. The property was very natural and a perfect place to relax after a few days travelling around Sri Lanka.

The house far exceeded expectations in every way. The photographs don’t do it justice. It is fairly isolated but certainly not remote, but I guess if you don’t have a driver or your own transport it might be difficult to get anywhere. The staff were lovely and the food they prepared was delicious home cooked Sri Lankan cuisine. We loved that in the area around the house there was lots of wildlife and even more if you went to platform at end of garden overlooking the lake.

We were a family with two granddaughters 3 & 5 and the staff went over and above to make the children and us feel welcome and pampered!! The manager Madhawa was kind, helpful, efficient and very competent!! Pradeep and the other young men took us on tours and wanted to feel at home and showed us the beautiful surroundings of the hotel! We went on an all inclusive plan and loved it!
