The place was very great, very beautiful garden. Very friendly and helpful family. The room is great, very quiet location, we recommend it. definitely try dinner and breakfast! The traditional dinner and breakfast were wonderful! We also booked a safari tour, the driver was amazing, he explained everything, you don’t need a guide when taking a tour from Green paradise, you can’t explain by the words how cool was it! Perfect place to stay in Udawalawa if you want to go to Safari. Very cheap private rooms with a bathroom. Place is clean and area is nice. There is a swimming pool that you can use and after Safari you can it delicious breakfast.

Firstly, I would like to compliment the couple who will host you. Krishantha will be around majority of the time throughout your stay and will ensure you are having a pleasant stay. Her breakfasts are generous and delicious. They were really wonderful to us and another who had been scammed before arriving at their gate late in the day, desperate for a room. They welcomed us warmly and set up the rooms for us within 5 minutes. The rooms were spacious, very clean and nicely designed. We booked a safari with them and they offered us an incredible deal as they have their own jeep. Although we had a mix up of communication between us and them in regards to the safari (and we were very on edge after nearly being scammed twice the previous day) but all was peacefully resolved. I fully recommend their safari - this is not one of those reviews that I had to do, it is genuine. Our safari was incredible. As it was a slower pace than Yala (which I did not enjoy), we actually got to see so much wildlife! Our driver/guide was very informative and we learned so much from him. He made sure to stop whenever we saw something, instead of darting off to desperately find a single elephant being surrounded by a million trucks. It was thoroughly enjoyable and a real highlight of my trip.

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food (had dinner and breakfast), the portico and the surroundings were great. The host was the best. Really helpfull with everything we needed. Best host in Sri Lanka so far. Also the safari we booked through the hotel was amazing. The driver picked us up at the hotel and brought us back. Very good price of the safari, and the hotel is really cheap.

We came for two nights and had a wonderfull stay at the Chill House. Hashan is not only the manager, hes also a very experienced tour guide. This place was amazing. - Great location. Tucked away in a quiet street, but can walk 15 mins to RET junction where you can find shops and restaurants. The elephant orphanage is about 25 min walk, or the host can take you by their own tuktuk for a reasonable fee. It is also nice and quiet at night, bar a few barking dogs in the area! - Lovely host. She runs it with her family and they are the nicest and most helpful people. They helped organise our safari tour. Her daughter and mine are the same age so was very cute to see them both playing together - The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC works well and the shower has good pressure and hot water - You can also have lunch here for 3000LKR per person. It's served like a banquet and so delicious Overall, a very comfortable stay and I highly recommend staying here.
