It was incredible two weeks at the Tropical Villa! I love this place so much! Me and my husband enjoyed spending our vacation here. Huge thanks to the team who makes this villa such comfortable, cozy and safe place! We had a spacious and clean room on the first floor. It was so cool to wake up and go straight to the pool and then practice yoga in the yard. After that we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast (scramble, sausages, bacon, salad, fresh juice, fruits, bread toasts with butter and jam, coffee). Location is top. Ocean, fish point, different cafes, money exchange point, bus station are super close (2-5 minutes walk). Most of the surf spots and a big grocery store are about 10-15 minutes walk. Staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Don’t hesitate to talk to them and ask if you need something. One day we asked about a safari tour and the next day we got round trip transfer, guide and jeep (exploring the Yala Park).

The PERFECT hostel! The owner, staff and volunteers were super friendly and social and there’s a lot of activities going on like volley ball or beerpong. Was always clean and it only takes you a short walk to get to the beach.

A true gem in Weligama! I really enjoyed my stay here. Chaminda, the manager, was excellent at communication and genuinely took care of everything and much more. The room was bright, and the balcony had a wonderful sea view. I’ll definitely want to come back here. Thank you very much!

I had the pleasure to be the first guest of clayleaf apartments and I loved my stay here so much! It felt like my second home away from home, the apartment is super stylish and Danujaya put so much love in this place with attention to details. He and his family are very kind (for example one night his mother cooked dinner for me) and Danujaya replied fast to my messages and was very helpful. He is planning on opening a café upstairs and opening four more apartments. The apartment had everything I needed - a kitchen, a small outdoor area, a cozy bed and a nice bathroom. I stayed here for almost three weeks and I will for sure return here when I come back to Sri Lanka. Thank you Danujaya 🌞

A beautifully designed, modern accommodation with a different style. Everything is brand new and clean. Our Special highlight was the incredibly comfortable bed - something seasoned travelers know is a rare find! Absolutely perfectly located, right in the heart of a lively area. The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, and very helpful to assist. We could only stay for one night, but this is the kind of place where you'd want to stay longer. We will definitely return. The Villas are superb. It's really clean and very new. There are two villas with one sharing pool. However, our entire stay felt like we had the pool to ourselves. Walking distance from the beach, about 12 minutes. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. They serve the best Sri Lankan food we have had in our entire stay in Sri Lanka.

    The rooms were perfect, clean, big enough and with a complete bathroom. The kitchen was more than enough and it also had a washing machine (1st time in sri lanka). The staff was super kind and helpful, always answering really fast and solving whatever you could need. The place is really beautiful, the garden is so greeny and full of life during the day. The location is pretty good in our opinion, you’re 5 min away from weligama and midigama but still super quiet, away from the noise. Really recommendable!

    There are many nice aspects about this place. It’s very quiet as it is not located near the main road. Clean spacious rooms with small kitchen. Good bed. Nice bathroom. Clean swimming pool and very relaxing garden. Yummie breakfast. Friendly staff. And all of this for a very reasonable price. Well done ! Would recommend it very much

    Really liked this apartment. We stayed with another couple and had a great stay. recommend anyone that wants a kitchen, living space, two bathrooms and a nice home from home feel. friendly family that runs it also.

    Silva was such a great host, he made sure we had everything we needed during the entire stay and even recommended a place to rent a bike nearby. The breakfast was great, and he would even wake us up in the morning when it was ready! He also let us have late check out at no extra charge. The AC was great, and had a nice warm shower. We shared a small kitchen area with another room so had fridge access which was very helpful.
