Syntony Hotels - Paradinha Village is situated in a serene rural part of Portugal near Arouca, offering a wonderfully tranquil and calm atmosphere. The rooms feature an industrial style that blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment, creating a harmonious and soothing ambiance that effortlessly melts away stress. The views from the hotel rooms are absolutely breathtaking, nestled in a valley between two hillsides. The lush vegetation and the soothing sound of the nearby river create a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, perfect for rejuvenating your energy. On hot summer days, the hotel provides a refreshing saltwater pool for guests to cool off. For those seeking a more "natural" experience, the nearby Paiva river is just a short five-minute walk away and offers an excellent spot for a swim. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, they do offer a convenient "home delivery" service, allowing guests to order typical Portuguese cuisine dishes from a nearby restaurant and have them delivered right to their doorsteps. The breakfast served at the hotel is a delightful representation of Portuguese cuisine, featuring sweet pastries, yogurt, cheese & ham, as well as bread, coffee, and tea. This is an absolutely magical house perched on a hill in the middle of a eucalyptus valley—complete seclusion, everything is just perfect. The only minor flaw is that the refrigerator door opens the wrong way, but that's truly the only downside, and it doesn't affect the ideal atmosphere for relaxation at all. We definitely plan to return.

We loved our stay at Casinha do Sol! Jon Audun and Friederike are wonderful hosts, and we felt truly welcomed. The casinha (little house) is perfect for a couple looking to spend quality time surrounded by nature. It was cozy and serene. Jon and Friederike’s suggestion to brave the cold and enjoy a walk in nature followed by a warm shower was the highlight of our trip. We hope to return!

Everything about our stay was excellent! A 12/10 accommodation - in regard to everything from cleanliness, spaciousness, hosts' hospitality and the view from the rooms! Hiking trails start pretty much next to the house. The nearest grocery store was down the hill in Arouca, 15 minutes on foot from the house. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to prepare dinner for your family after a day of hiking. Special thanks to the hosts (who live next door) for their attention, warmth, and care! Definitely revisiting if returning to Arouca.

The location was peaceful and quiet, just off the road, perfect for visiting Arouca 516 suspension bridge and Paiva Walkways. We received a very warm welcome and shown the shared kitchen facilities. Breakfast was left in the fridge to help ourselves, cold meat, cheese, fruit juice. Fresh bread rolls delivered daily. And … a very large home baked cake which was delicious. A very kind gesture. A fresh one was left for each set of visitors. A very busy baker! Obrigado! We will recommend to friends and family.

Nicely laid out, use of kitchen facilities, good wifi & space to relax. The owners were very helpful accommodating our late arrival & told us to relax when we were trying to check out on time which was lovely. The fresh eggs & rolls for breakfast were a delicious.

We loved everything about our stay. Easy free parking right outside the property Lovely walk into town Patricia our host was very welcoming Huge room with big comfortable bed, huge bathroom with great shower, all spotlessly clean. Sitting on the balcony in the morning looking at the view, it’s was just wonderful. I also loved having a fully equipped modern kitchen to make a cuppa tea in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely peaceful stay. Well equipped Kitchen. We were met by the host, no English spoken but we communicated well. Guesthouse beautiful and clean. Good parking. Ponte 516 Areinho side car park is 3 minutes drive. There is a Cafe there in the car park with decent food, we ate there the night of our stay and not much else close. Sponge was a brilliant added bonus

Wonderful accommodation in a quiet area. Very clean room. Kitchen with all necessary equipment. Very friendly host. We were also given a warm welcome by the village pets ;) Love it!
