Self Catering Accommodation in Kirkwood

We did self catering and did not had breakfast. The river view and quietness were food for the soul. Very good value for money.

Very clean and secure. Great layout of the room. All facilities available for self catering even a washing machine.

Sophia and her husband have an amazing place. They were so accommodating and helpful. The cottage was perfect, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. We loved the view, sitting on the terrace, and best steak ever on the outdoor barbecue. We took the Ndlovu game drive to Addo and Schotia. Our guide Francois was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the day. The drive to the lodge is not paved, but was easily manageable with a small car

Lovely tent with built on suite bathroom. Perfect ammenities. Nice undercover outdoor kitchen. Nespresso and airfryer inside also nice touch. Good wifi. Overhanging the river. Exceptionally comfortable bed with superb linen etc.

The room had kitchen facilities tucked away in a cupboard - very cute and handy. Lovely decor, great shower. Breakfast was available in the fridge the night before, so we could eat whenever we wanted. The host went above and beyond to return our jacket to us, which we really appreciated!

We liked the fully equipped unit with aircon, big comfortable bed, kitchen appliances and braai with beautiful river views and sunset. We enjoyed the canoeing with active fish jumping playfully around us and active night life.

Beautiful view of the river - sunsets are very special. Contained everything we needed for self-catering. The breakfast was lovely! We could keep devices charged during load shedding because they had solar power for bedside plug points.

Room was very clean, beautifully furnished and spacious. Had our own small kitchen with an air fryer and an outdoor bbq/fire place perfect for us as we love to cater for ourselves. Situated 15min drive outside centre of Addo town the slight detour was well worth it. Perfect for anyone looking for private accommodation placed in nature with amazing views of the river. Would go back again!
