The apartment was super comfortable with everything you could need for a stay. It was spotlessly clean. Very large, comfortable bed. Well organised and resourced kitchen. Washing machine and dryer were an added bonus. The whole apartment was modern, comfortable and very clean. The owners were very friendly and gave us some great tips for sampling Austrian cuisine and wine in the town. There was access to a small private garden where you could chill out with a glass of wine kindly provided by the hosts. There was secure storage for bicycles. Excellent stay and by far one of our best accommodation stays during our 3 week tour along the Danube.

Set in Krems an der Donau in the Lower Austria region, with Caricature Museum Krems and Kunsthalle Krems nearby, Smile Apartments am Stadtpark offers accommodation with free private parking. The property has city views and is 37 km from Melk Abbey and 7.1 km from Dürnstein Castle. Herzogenburg Monastery is 22 km from the apartment and Ottenstein Castle is 39 km away. the apartment is located very close to the city center, the park, the caricature museum and the art museum, the commercial area. Access to the upper floors is only by stairs. We were lucky that our apartment was on the 1st floor. The kitchen is well equipped. Bonus were enough coffee capsules, tea bags, some bruschetta, chips, peanuts. We didn't use it. There were even bags of ice cubes in the freezer.

The apartment was amazing - we were only there for about 10 hours as arrived late and then had to leave early on a cycling tour. Very modern, very nicely furnished with wonderful art and extremely comfy beds. Found the last minute check in procedure on the day a bit tricky as we were on patchy wifi so a bit stressful.
