The facility has a projector and sound system which was amazing and we loved spending our evenings with watching movies and music.

We loved staying at Emu Bay Cabins. At first, we were concerned as the cabin seemed so small, but there is a very good use of space and we managed to live there for 5 evenings comfortably without feeling too cramped. We really enjoyed the view and if the weather had been better we would have loved eating on the terrace. A highlight was to observe the kangaroos and the bird life from the terrace. The kitchen is small but well equipped and I was able to cook everything I wanted to. I liked being able to walk down the hill to the beach, rather than needing to get the car out. The owner/manager popped around to see us a few times and was very friendly and helpful.

Waves & Wildlife Cottages Kangaroo Island is gelegen in Stokes Bay in de regio Kangaroo Island en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. I absolutely loved this place. It is right above/next Stokes Beach, which was voted best beach in 2023, and has some of the best sunsets I have ever seen. When you have breakfast, kangaroos are hopping everywhere around your window (if you prefer to eat indoors). There are koalas in the trees a bit further and at dawn the wallabies come out. The owners make sure you have everything and even let us hand feed the kangaroos. I really enjoyed the silence of nature at night, this was my best sleep on my Australian travels (amazing blanket and pillow as well).
