The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. Felt really 'homely'. Staff and location perfect. Would recommend it unreservedly.

Here you can enjoy the beach lifestyle and elegance which gives this Queensland resort its reputation as the ultimate holiday playground. Fabulous place to stay. Spacious, block out curtains in bedrooms, lovely balcony with comfy chairs. It was fab being across the Rd from the beach as you could hear the ocean. The pool also looked out on beautiful vegetation. My family loved the tennis court. Also 15 min walk to town. There are no lifts so ask for ground floor apartment if don’t like stairs.

The famous Four Mile Beach is only a 5-minute stroll away We spent a fantastic week here. Location was great, walkable to the beach and town. Mel and Andy were super helpful with local information and arranged tours for us. The pool was nice and the acommodation perfect for our family of 6. Nice outdoor BBQ area.
