The two bedrooms are large with good storage space. There is an outdoor deck with table, chairs and a BBQ grill. The deck faces west, which provides beautiful sunset views. Tanya is a very gracious hostess; every morning she prepared breakfast, delicious crepes with fruit preserves and on our last morning, homemade banitsa. Her son was kind enough to meet us at the town square and guide us to the property as we had difficulty finding it. Location is outstanding; Sapareva Banya is a 5 minute drive from the property, where there are several good restaurants. There is a fully-stocked, well-maintained supermarket on the road between Saparevo (where the property is located) and Sapareva Banya. The drive to the ski lift in Panichishte takes 20 minutes. This is the starting point for hiking around the seven Rila lakes and the Rila National Park; there are trails galore and the scenery is beautiful. Borovets and the Yastrebets gondola (access to skiing and Musala Peak) is 35 minutes to the east. One added feature for star-gazers. There is little light pollution in the area and in the evening the view of the stars is incredible.
