The owner of the apartment is extremely friendly and welcoming, the room is clean and bright, had all necessary equipment, overall felt really comfortable staying here, which is very precious, especially for a solo-traveling woman. The location of the apartment is also very convenient, the neighborhood is pretty nice and quiet, subway station is in a walkable distance and there are a lot of convenient stores and a mall nearby. I would definitely recommend to stay there:)

I would like to thank particularly Jenny from Marriott hotel reception who helped me arranged trips with local drivers to ancient villages and local forests. Without her I would not be able to enjoy my stay in Lishui so much.

Given the language barrier, she booked the taxi for our departure to the railway station. Even before we left Chicago, she was helping me with the Chinese translation of the abstract of my talk. So, we left Hangzhou knowing we now had a permanent friend there to whom we could return. You may want to get to know Yan not only as a host but as a creative writer and engaging conversationalist.

安吉 小森林 Little Forest Anji bevindt zich in Anji met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. It was all very satisfying, especially the very good natural environment, clear to the stream, like an otherworldly paradise, which fully satisfied the desire of my friends and me to lie down, be quiet, empty ourselves, and eat the local food.
