Sofia Guest House heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in Luxor. The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

This stay felt like coming home and being on a family visit. Abeer and Austin gave me a very warm welcome. The location of the place is great and close walk to the train station / bus. I received honest and good info regarding my trip. I got a room downstairs. It was completly like on the pictures. Clean, big and silent. If you visit Luxor there is no other place to stay. I wish Abeer and Austin all the very best.

Villa golden life apartments, new property with pool access is gelegen op 4 km van Colossi of Memnon en biedt een gedeelde lounge en een bar. Mohamemed and Maata hielpen ons met werkelijk alles. We werden zo fijn ontvangen, hadden savonds goede gesprekken en deden gezellig een biertje! Beste gastheer in Egypte. Kamer was schoon, douche was goed, en op een steenworp afstand van de nijl. Zou hier zeker terugkomen. Her zwembad was trouwens ook goed verzorgd.

The hangout areas are great; my wife and I enjoyed every sunset there. Its proximity to all the sites on the west bank is a major plus, and they can offer very competitive prices for experiences like hot air balloon rides. We will definitely return!

The apartment is spacious, with good facilities and good view. If you need anything from the owner, they will also provide you with reasonable price. The apartment comes with washing machines, which makes the trip very comfortable and we can do a laundry here in the room. Also, there house got nice Nile River view, where we can enjoy the view in the early morning. I book the airport transfer from the hotel too.

Tasneem Palace bevindt zich op 3 km van Colossi of Memnon en biedt een tuin en een bar. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. De Tasneem Palace ligt op een super locatie op de westelijke oever van de Nijl. Het ligt erg rustig in een zeer vriendelijke buurt op loop afstand van winkels en de veerpont naar de oost oever. Op het dakterras kan je de door Mahmoud (die het koken geleerd heeft van zijn moeder 😊😋) dagvers klaargemaakte ontbijt, lunch en avondeten nuttigen (zeer aan te bevelen met producten van hoge kwaliteit), met prachtig uitzicht op groene velden en hun tuin. Mahmoud was werkelijk altijd beschikbaar en verzorgde voor ons van alles, zoals taxi, treinkaartjes, tempel bezoeken met prive chauffeur en gids. We konden gratis gebruik maken van de wasmachine. Mahmoud en Mohammed zijn erg professioneel, rustig en betrouwbaar. De volgende keer in Luxor zou ik weer bij hen verblijven. Ik raad Tasneem Palace iedereen aan! PS: de google maps route van Tasnim Palace (dus niet Tasneem van Booking) werkt het beste.

If you want to have the absolute best stay in Luxor, you have to stay at Momo’s Rose Villa. We are a family with two girls aged 15 and 19 and we stayed at the villa for 3 nights. The villa itself is really amazing. Not only does it have a lot of space, it is also equipped with everything you need. It is very clean and has a lovely feel to it to walk on barefoot, which I like a lot. It has a beautiful garden with so many flowers and a really nice pool, equipped with sunbeds and a nice lawn to play on or lie in the sun. Even a lovely seat to drink your coffee early in the morning. A little present for the girls: Momo has a really sweet cat (Mimi) which had three little kittens at the time we had our stay. My girls named the kittens Ramses (red one because he was the most playful), Isis (black one, because Isis is the goddess of magic), Cleo (from Cleopatra because she was the most beautiful). Momo is a really terrific host, so very, very kind with this fantastic positive vibe we really loved. You can reach him any time of the day and he helps you with everything you need. He absolutely makes sure that you lack nothing. He even wants to take you on his sailing boat for a small price to see the sunset from the Nile. (Unfortunately, we missed that one because a sandstorm was announced). Even though the temple of Luxor is on the other side of the Nile, you can get there by boat in 5 minutes, which Momo arranges for you or he takes you himself. Rose Villa is, without a doubt, the best place to stay in this area if you do want to see and feel the real life of the Egyptians but in the meanwhile stay in a clean and luxurious villa. We really, really loved it!!!

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Ibrahim took us to the valley of the kings area which was amazing experience. They also prepared a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!
