For people with car I would recommend to use the parking place provided by this apartment house (extra fee 25EUR/night) as it's convenient and no headaches to find a parking spot on the streets (which is in fact difficult).

The location was convenient, we parked nearby and just walked around . Old town was a bus away or walkable maybe 20 minutes but it was drizzling and cold so we just took the bus. It’s also difficult to find parking in most areas in Bilbao so best to just leave it in a parking building if you have a rental . Studio is good sized and can even fit maybe 4 people if the sofa be is used. We were able to cook a good meal as the kitchen is well equipped. there’s also at least 2 groceries nearby( 2 to 3 minutes away . washing machine is not in the unit but we didn’t use it.
