We arrived late in the evening because of some car problems but the host lady, Maya, welcomed us with a great improvised dinner that really surprised us ("Oh I've just a couple of things" and then she flooded the table with food, we were almost crying by joy as the day had been pretty hard and we were knackered). That's when we actually experienced the legendary Georgian hospitality! The house is very nice, old but in good conditions, the room and the bathroom were OK and it's in the old town at a walking distance from the major attractions in Telavi. Lovely place, we would have loved to stay longer but our trip schedule was already set... Recommended!

We travelled during the last 10 months and found our favourite accommodation in a corner of Georgia at the border to Azerbaijan. Homemade wine, excellent food, comfy bed and 10minutes by foot to the entrance of the national park. The river with the possibility to swim in the cristal clear water was also only 5minutes away! However, the best thing was the hospitality of the couple. They told us in long evenenings a lot of stories about the life in Georgia. To leave this beautiful place broke our hearts. Don't bypass Lagodheki without a stay in the wine house and don't plan to eat/drink somewhere else, you will never regret it!

We enjoyed the home cooked breakfast and dinner optionally provided by the hosts. The balcony was a great spot to spend the evenings enjoying their homemade wine and garden views. Nice updated rooms too.
