After I let them know about my work commitments and schedule, Connar would kindly light the stove in advance so that I returned each day to a beautifully warm and cosy space — so thoughtful! The apartment itself was the real highlight: very spacious, well-appointed and equipped with plenty of facilities (though there’s no dishwasher). It was also in a great locatation within easy driving distance of Athlone and other local sites such as Clonmacnoise. Highly recommended!

It is worth increasing the accommodation in the countryside if you do not like the hustle and bustle of the big city. Supermarket and restaurants can be reached in 10 minutes in the next town. Very nice and friendly landlords and a rich kitchen equipment. Very spacious for breakfast and large rooms.

We were in Tipperary for a race meeting, so the location was perfect for us as it was just a 15 minute drive to the track. There was plenty parking space at the house for our van and race shuttle.
