Well equipped, clean, spacious, the view to the ohori park, and helpful staffs Alhough there is no check-in counter, it was very easy to communicate through booking.com messages, and I was able to get answers to my questions very quickly. On arrival day, I was able to leave my luggage early (7 hours before check-in time) and same for the departure day: keeping my luggage for an hour after our check-out time. This gave us enough time to take a walk aound ohori park and fukuoka castle site. We had enough towels for 2 nights of staying, and I was happy to take a bath after long walks. Oh, it was very convenienr to have the family mart on the ground floor :) Totally recommend!

Ondanks dat we veel te laat bij het hotel arriveerden kwam er na een telefoontje snel iemand aangelopen die ons de sleutels kon geven!!

Akitsuki Kominka Yado You ligt in Asakura, op 14 km van Hiroshiki Oda Museum of Art, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. the owner is a quite person but very kind and considerate. she was one of very few accommodation-owners who speak english. 1. specially she took care of our electrical bicycles which need battery charging. she made an indoor space in a different house which is perfect. 2. also the kitchen which is well devised and like home kitchen was very nice to use. 3. the room we stayed has so nice mountain view, which was tranquil. 4. during our stay, it was heavy rain and we, bike traveller, probably made the space dusty. but she understood the situation and was generous to provide more towels to wipe water on body. 5. we vediotaped the house because her retro-renovation of the old farm house(actually looks old shop house in a farming village) was very intriguing and informative. (very japanese as well as very moderate and inexpensive)

The location is less than 5 minutes from Befu station. There is ¥200 tax to be paid on arrival. Absolutely a better choice than staying in a backpacker hostel.
