Self service check-in, fully equipped with washing machines, microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, and dining tables. I only started choosing a hotel after arriving at Kagoshima Chuo Station and accidentally chose this one. Later on, I realized that the location of this hotel was very good, just a walk from the planetarium. You will experience how convenient it is to be close to the planetarium. I will choose this place again next time I come to Kagoshima.

We ran a bit late but he waited until we arrived and showed us to the apartment; he also turned on the light and heater before we arrived so the house was warm! He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants nearby. The apartment is in a quieter neighbourhood, but perfect if you are driving. The kotatsu is the best part about the house, please do experience it if you come to Japan in winter. We regret only staying for one night, I would highly recommend staying at least 2-3 days in Kagoshima especially if you are interested in history of Japan - there are a lot of museums and historical sites to explore!

森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view ligt op 19 km van Yakusugi Land en biedt een tuin. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and had very clear explanations for everything! She really helped us when we were ill-prepared for the Jomon Sugi hike, which we appreciated a lot! There were complimentary welcome drinks and a dessert on the second day which were delicious. The cabin was clean with all the facilities you could need, plus there was a hose in the front yard for you to clean your hiking shoes. The morning view from the deck was also amazing! Note the accommodation is about 15 minutes drive south of Anbo, so it is a bit out of the way of the main attractions, but it wasn't a big deal as we enjoyed the peace.

Spacious, super clean, well, wonderful view, the owner was responsive and super nice, helped us with anything we needed. Everything about it was so convenient and comfortable. So many outlets, great Wi-Fi, washing machine, and of course, the highlight - a private onsen! Really a wonderful stay.
