On top of that he would try to help us as best as he can with our countless requests.

A very spacious room. Owner and family couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful and went out of their way on a number of occasions to assist us and other guests during our stay. The owners son also spoke with us at length about the history of the house, the town and Sri Lanka, he was very knowledgeable. Well located with restaurants close by and a lovely walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. Great value for money and a good breakfast to start the day. Definitely highly recommended

The room though basic was comfortable and clean. The hosts were fantastic very friendly and helpful. Wasnatha even phoned the train station to check on the arrival time of the train we were catching the next day. Breakfast was very tasty served to our room.

Located just minutes from downtown yet nestled on a peaceful narrow road, it offered the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Breakfast in the open-air area, overlooking verdant fields and not far from the tea plantations, was a magical start to each day of our stay. In summary, Keshiya Holiday Home provides a serene retreat with exceptional hospitality and breathtaking surroundings. It was undeniably our top pick for our Sri Lanka trip, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.

Daffodils Inn is very well located, close to town and the trailhead to Sri Pada, but is quiet and comfortable. From my balcony I could see Sri Pada peak, with the mist floating in an around. It was magical! The property itself is very well maintained, the room was spacious and clean, and the hosts are wonderful people. They helped me with getting a guide to climb Sri Pada at night, and with transportation from Kandy and my onward journey. The ever ready pot of tea, and excellent breakfasts were of course very welcome. Overall I highly recommend Daffodils Inn.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.
