Offering a garden and city view, Sand & Surf Guest House is situated in Negombo, less than 1 km from Wellaweediya Beach and a 16-minute walk from St Anthony's Church. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and full-day security for guests. I enjoyed how comfortable and clean the hotel is, but also how friendly the managers are. After staying in a number of budget lodges, I wanted to treat myself to a proper room, with a quality mattress and a hot water shower.

Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, units at the apartment complex also have free WiFi. The units feature a desk. Great accomodation for quick airport stay, we were warmly welcomed, and got free transport to the airport. The room was clean, nice and great value for money. I would definitely go here again

The place is amazing – extremely clean and modern. The room was very spacious, with complimentary water and fruit provided, which was a nice touch. There’s also a restaurant on-site that we really enjoyed. We only stayed for one night because of its proximity to the airport, and unfortunately the monsoon season had already started, so we couldn’t make use of the pool or do much else. The host was excellent – communication was smooth, and he kindly arranged both pick-up and drop-off (very early in the morning) at the airport for a fair price. Highly recommended!

Situated in Negombo, within 600 metres of Wellaweediya Beach and 1.5 km of St Anthony's Church, Maria Villa features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is set 37 km from R Premadasa Stadium, 38 km from Khan Clock Tower and 43 km from Bambalapitiya Railway Station. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and luggage storage for guests. We had a wonderful stay at Maria Villa. Janet made us feel right at home making our visit to Negombo nicer and welcoming. Our room was spacious and very clean; a nice size bathroom with hot water. The rooftop offers beautiful views of the area. Maria Villa is located on a quiet street within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. We would stay here again.

Simply furnished, all rooms are cooled with a fan and are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms come with a shower. Air conditioning facility can be provided on request at a surcharge.

The villa's kitchen is accessible by all guests, while free wired internet is available at the reception. On-site parking is free. Villa Shade is a hidden gem! The property was beautiful with lovely tropical gardens and comfortable rooms (with a fabulous outdoor bathroom). Shiraj was a lovely host who cares deeply about the property and his guests. They have created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and even grow an all organic garden on the property! All of the staff was helpful and hospitable during our stay and accommodated a very early morning checkout time- we wished we had more nights to spend at this hotel.

À la carte and Asian breakfast options with local specialities, fresh pastries and pancakes are available. If you prefer to cook in the comfort of your own place, you can make use of the kitchen facilities, which include a fridge, kettle and kitchenware. Everything was perfect with the room, location, and the hosts! Communication was great. Such a friendly family who were really nice to talk with, and they just wanted to ensure my stay was the best it could be. So many added extras, such as tooth brush and toothpaste, water, coffee/tea and even a light and tasty dinner and breakfast included in the price. It felt like staying in a 5 star hotel 😍 I will always stay whenever arriving and departing Sri Lanka due to the excellent accommodation and service as well as the convenience of being so close to the airport.
