The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood... Even street dogs were quiet 🤫 Everything went well in our stay. The host is a very kind person. It was very easy to communicate with him. He gave us many great tips for "what to do?", "where to eat" etc. Breakfast was very nice. The room was spacious and the bed was big and very comfortable.

A couple of minutes driving from the wonderful beaches of Belle Mare and Palmer beach, this is a great place to enjoy the best of Mauritius in a far more economic way. We had a spacious bedroom with private bathroom and a little kitchen where we could cook our own meals, But Shanti Nivas is a lot more than just a place to stay, this is a place where you feel like home. The host, Mr. jay is a one of a kind master host. He does everything to make you feel at home, and soon he became a friend. Don't expect a 5 stars resort by 1/10 of the price you pay for it in Mauritius, but you can certainly expect a 10 times better service. Thanks Jay, you're the man and you have built a quite unique concept in Mauritius by allowing everyone to have the possibility of visit the wonderful Mauritius with a limited budged. I cannot recommend enough your place to anyone who always dreamed to visit Mauritius but couldn't afford the extremely expensive hotels.

Overlooking Grand river Sud, near the ferry to go to Ile Aux Cerfs. Local neighbourhood close location to Eastern Mauritius beaches as it is just half an hour away from Ile Aux Cerfs. Property was very clean, people managing it were awesome. Kitchen was well stocked and also there was a washing machine.

The lady that is hosting is extremely nice and helpfull...super...the rooms are friendly clean and with many windows for fresh air and light...we were sharing the kitchen with other guests...that was easy and nice experience

Το Mau Lakaz βρίσκεται στο Belle Mare και παρέχει δωρεάν WiFi και θέα στο βουνό. Έχει επίσης εξωτερική πισίνα, αίθουσα γυμναστικής και κήπο. Absolutely loved my stay at Mau Lakaz. The place was very neat and clean. We were offered complimentary tea bags which was great given that I am a tea lover. The view from the swimming pool was cherry on the cake. The host was very responsive. No noisy neighbours, which is a plus. Loved the master bedroom's bathroom and walking closet. Very well equipped - Iron, Hair dryer, utensils, steamer, vertical steamer iron, lots of towels (even pool towels), hangers, dish washer, hair and body shower gel (2 in 1), bbq, oven and big fridge. Kudos to that! There was also many safety signs. Thank you for hosting us Mau Lakaz.
