The centrally located Pohutukawa Lodge is an 8-minute walk from Whangarei's town centre. It is 5 minutes' drive from Whangarei Events Centre and Toll Stadium (Semenoff Stadium). Whangarei Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable!!!

Comfy and clean cabin only a couple minutes drive from Whangarei on a lovely farm. We got to feed the sheep and alpacas and especially enjoyed the pigs.

The location was out of town center away from all the traffic and crowds of tourist.

Situated just 20 km from Opua Forest, FOREST WATERS features accommodation in Haruru with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. This property offers access to a terrace, tennis at the tennis court, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. It was a pleasure fo spend time at this place. Dolphine and her husvand are incredible hists. They help you on any topic and provide such a nice and warming atmosphere. The property and the house are just beautiful everything is so clean and looks fantastic. You will enjoy your stay there from the first second you arrive until the last minutes when you have to leave. We would highly recommend this place as it was the best experience in New zeeland!!! The rooms are so pretty and the beds are very comfy. The breakfast is outstanding with nice fresh homegrown vegetables and fruits. The outsight is a paradise for children with the fireplace, the spa and the tennis court and not to forget the chickens.

A private entrance leads guests into the apartment, where they can enjoy some chocolates or cookies. The accommodation is non-smoking. The friendly welcome from our hosts Jan and Chris. The accommodation was exactly as described. Very comfortable, nice breakfast selection including lovely fresh sourdough bread. Jan recommended heading to the surf beach to see the last of the sun which was beautiful. She also recommended a restaurant/pub for dinner which was perfect for our last night in NZ. To top it all off, the skies were so clear from the garden, we were able to see the Milky Way and millions of stars. A perfect end to our holiday. Thanks for hosting us. Couldn't have been better.

Nothing too much for them made us very welcome. The room was clean and very modern. There is a microwave, toaster, and kettle, and you are supplied with some food items, milk, butter, jam, cereal, and snacks ect. Lovely view of the canal from the veranda. You are able to use some e-bikes if you want to, although we did not take up the offer. Would I go again? Yes, I would.
