Miguel was the ultimate host. He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

The kitchen is fully equipped, so it’s very easy to cook if you prefer to have meals at home. The beds are really comfortable, and the whole apartment is quiet, which guarantees a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi works perfectly — fast and stable, which was very convenient. The hosts are extremely kind and friendly, always ready to help, and they even leave little tasty treats as a gift — such a lovely touch. The location is very convenient: there is a bus stop right outside the building, and the bus takes you to almost all the main spots in Funchal. If you prefer, taxis are also easy to get and quite affordable — sometimes even cheaper than the bus. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay with excellent value for money. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!
