It had all the facilities we needed. Lena and Thomas were lovely hosts and even brought us some grapes from the garden.

There was so much luxury in this well-planned apartment that we regretted only staying one night. The separate undercover and glassed-in verandah with BBQ and comfy lounge puts this place on an entire next level, and that is without mentioning the jacuzzi that was already hot and ready and super clean upon arrival. Even the air-conditioner and dishwasher was a touch of convenience which shows the thoughtfulness of the host. Very convenient in the middle of our long road-trip was the washer and separate dryer which allowed us to do multiple loads in one day. Clever stairs which takes up minimal space to to the generous sleeping area on the landing above, a large TV which can be enjoyed from the big and comfortable bed on the bottom level, and all you will ever need in a kitchen while enjoying the view of the water through the kitchen window. Small added luxury items like designer coffee mugs and imported wine glasses made us feel extra welcome and added to the high level of comfort the host is clearly aiming for.

Kalmar Art Museum is less than 1 km from the apartment, while Öland Bridge is 6.3 km from the property. Kalmar Airport is 5 km away. It was a nice and cozy apartment, located very close to the old city center. Public parking nearby can be tricky, so make sure to check the signs carefully. The host was very friendly and helpful. However, I had to call him several times to figure out how to find the apartment, as there were no written instructions provided. Also, there are a few minor things in the flat that need maintenance/repair.
