The accommodation is non-smoking. My friends and I just enjoyed one of the best experiences of our life with our stay at Camp Caroli. We stayed in family cabin and it was truly perfect. It was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We especially loved sitting in the living room drinking coffee after a cold day outside. Waking up each morning to an amazing view of the snow, the frozen lake, and the raw wilderness was breathtaking! We experienced many great excursions thanks to Amanda who set everything up for us. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions through email or phone. Stefan, our host, was absolutely a super star. He picked us up from the airport, took us grocery shopping, and drove us to all of our excursions which included dog sledding, the ice hotel, and our quest to find the perfect spot to view the northern lights! He was very accommodating for all of our needs during our stay. This was a dream vacation come true for us! Camp Caroli and Stefan made our bucket list dreams come true! I had a great stay at Aurora River Camp! The owner was incredibly kind and caring, making sure everything was perfect during my visit. While the hotel isn’t located in the downtown area, they offer convenient transport for 300 SEK, which was really helpful. The location is excellent—just across from the famous Ice Hotel and an extra 20-minute walk to the reindeer sites from the Ice Hotel. They also arrange various activities, making it a great spot for those looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation. The atmosphere was so peaceful that I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended for a cozy and personalized experience in nature!

It was amazing - super view, very nice area directly at the lake, so cozy to really relax and enjoy (even with 5 person in the lodge), super equipped and northern lights view from the bed. By the way, kids loved the pop corn machine. We felt like home. The host was really helpful when we needed support.
