We loved everything about our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful villa - due to the individual rooms being located in different corners, it almost feels like being the only guest! The pool, sitting areas and rooms offer plenty of opportunities to relax. The owners are very kind (great recommendations and showed us to the best spots for swimming/food) and have two very friendly cats and dogs, which made our stay even better. :) Great breakfast (with view on pool) with local bakery goods and fresh fruit!

Manuel and Sophia were delightful hosts who were very sensitive to the needs of their guests and always happy to give advice, réservé taxis and restaurants etc. The hotel is in a beautiful but isolated spot, far from the Tourist Zone, so be prepared to rent a car or take taxis, which are very reasonably priced. There is a large pool and it’s possible also to swim at the beach across the road. Sophia is a wonderful cook so eating at the hotel is a good option. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. The host was helpful and respectful had air conditioning in all the rooms. I wood stay here again it’s better than a hotel.

The host was incredibly kind and even covered my dinner on the first day since I didn’t yet have Tunisian currency. The flat was spotless and perfectly located close to the beach.

Laetitia is one of the best hosts we have had, lots of info from her plus she was always concerned that everything was ok to make our stay 100%.

The host, Madam Dalenda, was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay—whether it was with the house, directions, or access to nearby and even distant places. The house itself was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to enjoy the distant sounds of music from nearby hotels—an unexpected bonus that made the evenings more lively, especially while watching the shows from the balcony or even dancing a little! Speaking of the balcony, it was one of our favorite spots—perfect for relaxing on the comfy rooftop chairs. We also appreciated the convenience of having a pharmacy close by that offered groceries, fruits, vegetables, and more. There were plenty of restaurants and hotels in the area as well. A heartfelt thank you again to Madam Dalenda for being such a generous and helpful hostess. You made our trip truly memorable!
