We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

We stayed in the large Superior Apartman. It's the best option for group of friends or for families. Very good location of apartment to skiing in Molltaler Gletscher, Ankogel, Goldeck or Katchberg.

It was just perfect. We did not want to cook but the kitchen was so inspiring that we were soon in the spar nearby to get some materials and then we had a delicious self made dinner. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious.

It is the perfect location if you want to relax from big city noise. Incredible views. Super nice hosts. House is decorated with a big attention to the details. All important things are made expensive and with super high quality. Kaldewei, Axor, Miele and many other used brands in interior should tell you that everything is done for your comfort stay. Sauna is pretty cool bonus! The location could be used as a good start point for the hiking.

Hotel is large and during our stay busy. Coach delivery of guests during evening and morning collection resulted in a lot of people traffic. Breakfast was good choice, evening meals were fine. Parking outside was busy Motorcycles and car parking at times and walkers enjoyed the hotel. The Hotel is located on a hill and for some walking may prove hard outside hotel grounds.
