Breakfast was rich, regional and very good. The spa is really nice. Everything is very new and super clean.

Pension Willibald is quietly situated a 10-minute drive from the centre of Bad Tölz. The guest house offers both rooms and apartments and there is free WiFi access available.

The location is spectacular! The hotel sits in a small farming village just south of Bad Tölz. It was beautiful and quiet. Both the village and the hotel. This would be a great place to stay for a few days and explore southern Germany. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Please keep in mind this is not an "American Tourist" hotel. However, if you want a local feel in your stay, this is it. The hosts do speak English, but you need to try to have a few German phrases under your belt. The breakfast was amazing and German, not Americanized or English-fied. That means no baked beans nor pancakes. They had the largest "wall" of cereals and yogurt toppings I have ever seen. Yum!! Also, American tourists should know there isn't an elevator nor air conditioning. The room did have a fan and windows that opened though.

Location is excellent, and there are plenty of things to see in the area. It's a pity we didn't have more time to explore. The host were kind and welcoming, and I would definitely recommend this accomodation for families with children because space is large and beds are very comfortable, and it is quiet, so you can get a good sleep.
