Marco was amazing. So friendly, funny, helpful and generous. While having a beer on the patio area, I was busy sowing a torn bag I use to carry small items (GPS, Go-pro camera, cell phone holder, cell phone, charging cable,etc) when Marco brought tje beers. Soon after, he arrived with a replacement bag and gave it to me. So thoughtful and I call this generosity of spirit. Restaurant had great food and all the staff were so friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Casa das Penhas Dourades is a beautiful property in a gorgeous mountainous setting. The food for breakfast and in the restaurant was exceptional. The staff was helpful, friendly and so accommodating. The surrounding area was wonderful for sightseeing and hiking. I would definitely recommend this property.

First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright!
