Well maintained, pleasant host, excellent breakfast with homemade goods. Nice country surroundings.

Very peaceful location in nature with beautiful view. In the morning you can enjoy sunshine on the terrace. Rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable.

Lovely location high up. Very welcoming host. We had a family room with a balcony which was very nice. Lots of hot water for showers. We had booked room with breakfast and had planned to have an evening meal out but we didn’t realise how remote the location was. The owner kindly offered to cook us a meal and also to a backpacker who had turned up. The meal was excellent- a traditional local meal of meat and filled pasta with salad- would highly recommend it. Lovely selection of cold food for breakfast.

Very nice hosts, the breakfast has a lot of choice with many delicious and housemade product. The room was perfectly clean and had a very nice view over the beautiful landscape. And with DVB and Satellite TV, there are a lot of programs in all kind of languages. Some big hotels does not have this service.

There was a homemade plum brandy in the refrigerator from a man that owns this housing and it was delicious. Nice surprise!

Booked well in advance with the full payment being processed at the time of making reservation. Price included cleaning service fee, but excluded local tourist tax, which is payable at the check in. Extra charge for a dog applies at the cost of 16 euros per night. All information regarding any additional payments provided when making payment, though it requires to read everything carefully before proceeding to payment, which is quite obvious, but not for everyone after reading some reviews. If planning to arrive after it gets dark, make sure you get an electronic tracker from the reception at the Cerkno Hotel in Cerkno, which is located around half hour uphill / downhill drive from Alpska Perla. Trying to arrive to Alpska Perla in darkness without this tracker or knowledge of local roads is almost impossible, because all satellite navigation redivert through either gravel or non-existent roads. Roads are narrow and curvy, but this is what to expect from accommodation that is almost 1300 metres above see level. Outside skiing season reception is opened at Alpska Perla only on weekends. During our stay in the biggest apartment at Alpska Perla, which could host 10 people, staff at the reception appeared to be very helpful and understanding. We could check in, and make adjustments to our booking the day after our arrival. Passports or other form of photographic IDs are required to get checked-in, and this is very straightforward process. Our two-leveled apartment was very spacious and had enough room to accommodate 10 people. All beds appeared to be very comfortable apart od foldable sofa beds, of which quality is a little bit questionable, but okay to sleep for someone of the light body built. There were two bathrooms with shower cabins, one of them had two bathroom sinks, and well equipped kitchen block. Hob in the kitchen block was slow to warm up but good enough to heat up food or prepare basic meal.

Very nice place. Everything is extremely clean. There is a lot of space. We were with 4 children. Sauna and jacuzzi complete the experience. We will definitely be back.

Very frendly and kind stuff, cozy and very clean room, very happy about table tenis available, restaurant with tasty pizzas, nature around is very beautiful.

Great hotel close to motorway for connections to & from Ljubljana. Rooms are comfortable, the lift, parking & lovely restaurant on site all add to the experience. Having breakfast included was an unexpected bonus
