Nearly everything and everyone there is just great. Restaurant is classy with great food and atmosphere for the evenings, and the breakfast is just superior to many 5-star hotels. Selection of herbal and fruit teas is enormous. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, everything in hotel is modern, common area doors are automatic touch-free, rooms are spacious with a large entry area which is especially convenient if you came skiing. Oh, the balcony is a nice bonus - rare thing in hotels. Marked with a heart on google maps.

Το Amaria Downtown Aparthotel Villach είναι στο Φίλλαχ και απέχει 7,5 χλμ από Φρούριο Landskron και 12 χλμ από Waldseilpark - Taborhöhe. The owner of the property was really helpful with check-in (reception machine is difficult to use) and with our request for thinner blankets (the apartment is quite warm). The penthouse is very luxurious, we will definitely stay here again.

The property is very clean and well appointed. From the condition of the furniture etc the apartment may be rather new. Everything was provided, including a bottle of wine when we arrived. The property is away from the city center and is very quiet. One does need a car to get groceries and get to restaurants. Please keep in mind that all stores in Austria are closed on Sunday so one must plan ahead. I did not have any contact with the host outside of e-mail, but all contact was fast and courteous.

The host met us at the door and showed us our room. What a great apartment! We slept so well and we were rewarded with a gorgeous lake view in the morning. I would have loved to stay longer and explore the area.
