Location was very close to a number of resorts (we also had a car). Breakfast was very filling and at a great price. The host also has access to discounted tickets for resorts in the area. We were very sad to leave.

The accommodation had everything you could possibly need. We hired a 4wd from a local company (was dropped at the train station for us), which is a must especially in winter. Every morning staff cleared the snow from around our car and were super friendly.

The property is also located next to the ski hill, great to get the first tracks on a powder day. The property has its own daily "Onsen" (Japanese Hot Spring / Bathing). The Onsen turned into a daily ritual to sooth the aches and pains from snowboarding. Food: The onsite chief offers the opportunity have an authentic and fresh meal each night. I had some of the best meals during my visit in Japan through at the property. Staff: Always polite and helpful. David supported the guests trips to the local resorts and transport. All in all, if you have the opportunity to visit, I would encourage you to book your holiday and see for yourself.

Lovely, spacious ryokan. Very clean, great breakfast. Little bit removed from Myoko Onsen village (10-15 minutes walk) but very close to Myoko Kogen lift area. A pleasure to stay!

This was the second year we stayed at Jopow House 2 and we will try to book to stay again next season. staff did their best to accommodate our needs, as I had difficulty with steps post hip replacement.

Traditional Japanese place with big rooms (we were 4 adults and we were perfectly comfortable). Bathrooms are shared but very clean. Ai (the host) was super nice and we had a great time. The position is perfect, the place is 1 min away from the ski rental shop and 5 min from the slopes. All the bars and restaurants are less than 5 min walk. If I come back I would stay here again. I totally recommend it.
