Very nice cabin with a great view over the nother part of Lake Nisser into the valley of Vråvatn. The cabin was very comfortable with a lot of space. We could even charge our electric car directly at the cabin. When we tried this the first time, the wallbox didn't work but that was fixed by our friendly host already on the next day!

It was our first trip to Norway and had no idea that we were going to have one of the absolute best experiences of the entire trip together there. The place is simply beautiful. The people there are incredibly attentive and helpful. The food at dinner and breakfast is world class. The location is stunning. As a personal side note to the owners: My father came to the U.S. from Kongsberg when he was in his very early 20’s and started his new life and family. Growing up in Southern California where my brother and I were exposed to a lot of the antique Scandinavian items, colors, and style. My father was a committed collector at flea markets and swap meets everywhere, and anytime he came across an old collectible related to his homeland, he would proudly bring it home and share the story of it with us, and then find a place to display it in their home. When we came into the main building to check in to our rooms, I told my 17 and 20 year old daughters, “this…this is the story your Grandfather was trying tell us with all those things”.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Susanne is the most wonderful host and set us up perfectly. The apartment was immaculate and was perfect for family. We liked everything about this place, kitchen well stocked, nothing was missing anywhere, just like at home. If we go to Norway next time, we will return.

The property was built in 1912 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the apartment's outdoor fireplace. The house is old, but very well maintained. Parking and location are excellent. 25 minutes to the ski resort. We had a great time staying there. Thanks to the hostess.
