Location and room were fantastic

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery.

Hotel staff amazing, as any issues they were quick to sort. Our room had 2 sofa beds for the kids which worked out extremely well, & a lovely balcony that we could watch the Gondolas go up & down mountain. Breakfast was incredible & nice to sit outside enjoying it too. Welcome drinks when we arrived, was a nice surprise as not expecting. Carparking easy & safe. Close to bus stop, so you could get this up & down to town if you wanted. (Also free with card that Hotel gives you). Walk was 10 mins downhill, but a lot more back...lol

All was exceptional, Kempinsky Hotel will surely see us again soon. However the one problem we had, was the problem with the double bed in our room that was disappointing. It is 2 single beds moved together ( terrible) it was however resolved with additional bedding and was slightly more comfortable.It would be good if double beds can be supplied and not single beds just moved together. Furthermore your hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Thank you and your staff was brilliant.
