The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking woods. The room was clean. The hotel is part of a huge sports centre and wellness centre and you can use the facilities for free. The breakfast was nice and you could sit outside. The staff were helpful and friendly. Loads of free parking. Short walk to river. The hotel was in an commercial estate but it is very quiet and not an issue. It is an easy 10min drive into Freiburg.

This is a perfect hotel for a restful night or two or three in the black forest region. A babbling brook right next to the hotel lulls you to sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel is very stylish (Vitra Design- beautiful art books, an unusual combination of traditional and modern- with many surprising and enjoyable features. Our dog was welcomed. The breakfast fulfilled every wish I could’ve had more. I can highly recommend this hotel in Glottertal. Thank you.
