Very well located to visit Freiburg and to go hiking or cycling in the area. Amazing breakfast, friendly staff and relaxing sauna area.

The pool was amazing. Breakfast was nice, rooms with a lot of space, free parking, the view from the room was incredible. Good hotel for families with kids.

Unfortunately the restaurant had reservations only. But the waitress was kind enough to let me set at the, what I think it is, table for the staff. That was fine with me, except for the ashtray.
Breakfast was good and the staff on duty very friendly. I would definitely come back another time to spend more time in this hotel so I can also use the swimming pool and spa facilities as well as, go for hikes in the beautiful scenery.

Excellently located in the Schwarzwald region with great hiking trails nearby.
Spacious room with plenty of cupboard space and good beds.
The food was great: excellent breakfast and a 4-course dinner with good variety. All staff were friendly and very accommodating. Due to heavy traffic we arrived later than expected and although the restaurant had just closed, they served us dinner anyway.
We enjoyed our daily swim in the pool and a hot sauna.
