The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.

The hotel is completely renovated and I love the style. The room was amazing, the personnel very welcoming and kind and the breakfast super yummy! Big plus for the sauna with the relax area.

It was a really comfortable hotel. Everyone was friendly, the room was clean and well-organized. The bed was comfortable and it was very close to the train station. The breakfast was also very good.

We stayed at the new apartments which were really comfortable next to a small river with a spectacular view of the Black Forest. Parking at the premises & very good breakfast. We were even given free cards for the local trains. Don't miss the chance to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant.
