The best apartment we have stayed during our one month travelling in France. The place was simply decorated with good quality furniture. Very well equipped kitchen if you wish to do some cooking there. We have a lovely 2 nights stay, would loved to stay there longer , but it was booked up . We moved to Villa Delphina , a beautiful old house with good sized room, and the breakfast was the best we ever had. There is a very nice restaurant in town, Le Cortal. Best to reserve a table in advance. We have a fantastic time hiking around the area.

Chateau de Riell provides 5-star accommodation in a former chateau. It has a garden, restaurant, spa and bar. The chateau overlooks Mount Canigou and free WiFi is available.

Everything but especially the lovely staff who were so attentive akd did their best to make sure our trip was memorable. The location is very quiet and spectacular. The rooms were all so different and we loved the decor.

The Grand Hôtel is an old and elegant building, located in the heart of a Mediterranean tropical park, in front of the great Pic du Canigou, 45 kms from Perpignan.

It felt like stepping back in time but in a good way. Le Grand Hôtel is an intriguing and interesting place to stay in a beautiful mountain location. Everything was spotless and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pool had lovely views too and I thoroughly enjoyed swimming in it. We stayed for three nights and had a spacious suite which was exceptionally good value. We enjoyed the food and one evening there was a White Party which we joined in. 30 Euros for a delicious three courses meal, red, white and rose wine included in bottles not carafes and music. We also booked a couple of treatments in the thermal spa. One of these being a white clay flotation pool - an amazing experience to be weightless! There are gardens and a lake to wander around and a small gorge and imagine what it was like in its heyday in the 1930’s/40’s. We loved it all!

We were 6-7 adults and 2 children 3yrs and 1yrs (cot and high chair provided). We rented both houses which were beautifully presented and fully equipped. The location was perfect for a retreat. Although we had trips out we could see how it would be a ideal place to get away from it all. It was peaceful and nurturing to be surrounded by nature. The 'wild' pool is a lovely concept, great for a dip and swim. We understand this is a new property and the owners have created an artistic and comfortable set of lodgings.

Set near the fortifications of a famous city built by Vauban, Clos Cerdan is a hotel complex set in a stone building overlooking the nearby mountains.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and well worth paying extra for. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and heated, with great views across the valley. The availability of on-site parking is always a bonus.

Riberach is located in the picturesque village of Bélesta near the Spanish border. This unique hotel is housed in a former wine cooperative, with rooms and suites above the old wine vats.
