The service from the staff was excellent - we were staying with our 6 month old baby and my elderly father and they did their utmost to make our stay as comfortable as possible, despite our various requirements (washing baby bottles daily, having to bring some breakfast for my dad at York Hospital). We had dinner twice at The Rise and although the first time we enjoyed an average meal, the second time, where we were a group of 13 for my graduation dinner, was fantastic.

Great facilities, pool & gym was open from 6am til 11pm which is amazing! Plenty of tea & coffee in the room which I love. Only a 35min walk into the city, and a 24hr garage & shop right across the road. Plenty of parking space and great price of £7 for 24hrs. Staff were friendly.
