Our stay at Monteverdi was simply beyond expectations! This place is a true gem, where every detail is thoughtfully crafted. The atmosphere is pure magic, blending Tuscan landscapes, elegant design, and genuinely warm hospitality into one unforgettable experience. We have to highlight their wonderful chef, Chef Giancarla Bodoni, who offered an incredible cooking class that left a huge impression on us. It was not only fascinating and delicious, but also a hit with our kids, who absolutely loved the experience. We left feeling completely enchanted and we know we’ll be coming back. A truly unforgettable few days- incredible views of the idyllic countryside from our room windows and from the thermal pools, really excellent massages , comfortable and spacious beds , beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were welcoming and did their utmost to make our stay special, including upgrading our room on check in which was a lovely surprise. The food was excellent and the thermal pools and saunas unbeatable for relaxation

This is not the first time we have visited the hotel-SPA, and we can say that in this case we found ourselves quite satisfied. Being able to swim in the thermal water pool is a wonderful experience. Also pleased that the thermal baths could be taken right in the room. The most valuable thing about the hotel is its location. Whilst the service was decent, it's accessibility to the main wine regions, and views in all directions was still the most important thing. Stepping out on the patio or climbing out of the pool we were directly frozen by the incredible beauty of Val d'Orcia. The staff were very attentive and tried their best to help. For example, the nearest bridge over the Orcia River was closed for repairs and we would have had to take a circuitous route to the restaurant. However, the member of staff at reception found out that the bridge was accessible at the weekend, even though all the navigators showed otherwise, and we saved a lot of travelling time. One of the most powerful experiences was a wine tasting in the Castle, conducted by the hotel sommelier. He told us about local wine in a wonderful, clear and interesting way, showed us vineyards, shared the secrets of their care and explained the peculiarities of each variety tasted. We were very impressed and grateful for this unique experience!

Luxury and service top value what a wonderful memorable hotel. As solo traveler without car the. hotel arranged a wonderful driver to visit the extraordinary countryside
