The location is beyond ideal. I was able to get a room facing the Mediterranean and the boardwalk - and it was a sight to behold. Great shopping area next door with bathing suit shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bars...every thing for a complete vacation.

The hotel is so beautiful designed and the staff members are so incredibly nice and to our dog as well! They upgrated us to a room with a terrace so our dog could go outside and it was just the best thing ever and really made our holiday. Also the location is great because you have everything nearby (train station, the park, walking path along the see etc). The room with airconditioning was really comfortable and I really enjoyed cooling down in the pool since I was heavily pregnant during our stay :) I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this place and hope to be back one day! I miss it already :(

The breakfast included a large sample of different types of food that would appeal to the many nationalities of the guests. A special request for coffee was happily accommodated. The room was a lovely executive room with a huge soaking tub and oversize bed. Lovely view of the Piazza below. The hotel is across the piazza from the main train station. Ideal place to stay when taking a cruise from Genoa.

Located opposite Genova Principe Train Station, the Continental is a restored Art Nouveau hotel overlooking the city.

Beautiful hotel and ideally located just in front of the railway station. The room was very comfortable, clean and very art nouveau which I loved. The hotel shares some facilities with adjacent hotel the Grand Savoia which is equally beautiful. The bar is something out of the great Gatsby very elegant and very stylish. Very professional and attentive staff. Breakfast was adequate and tasty. Lots to see within walking distance, very beautiful city, I will definitely return and hopefully can stay at the continental again!

The apartment was new and clean, even if it doesn't look like it from outside. The place was in walking distance to things we visited. Also many restaurants in the surroundings. The host was super nice and very helpful. He even gave us many recommendations for places to see and where to eat.

I liked a lot of things. Free parking on site, free room upgrade, excellent breakfast - quality and variety. The views from the hotel were awesome. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to enjoy the swimming pool or the beach due to cold weather.
