Just an amazing place, quite exceptional in every respect. Our plan was to stay here and visit the surrounding area. We parked the car and never left the property until it was time to go home. Already booked to return.

We had a room upgrade to a Suite, which was a very nice gesture, much appreciated. - the suite was in the new wing, modern spacious and well designed. With All the little details that seasoned Travellers appreciate. The bed was comfortable, there was a walk-in wardrobe, and a daybed lounge area. Large shower - the spa area was large relative to size of hotel, with lots of relax areas, saunas, infra red, steam bath rooms. Excellent. We had massages by Sarah which was good. - the garden must be the pride & joy of the owner.. nice landscaping (some parts look like a Japanese garden), with fruit trees as well. - overall the hotel and room was very clean - good location- only 10-15 minute walk into town, part of it was a nice walk by the river.

Hotel Zima is less than 2 km from Merano's centre, and close to the botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, and free Wi-Fi in the lobby.

Very nice hotel, quiet with a beautiful garden. We stayed for 5 days in a studio with kitchen, spacious with stunning view of the Alps. It was very hot and humid, no air conditioning but we got a fan and it was fine. The staff is so friendly and helpful. 15 min walk in a city center, all is so pretty and peaceful that it feels like 5 min. Merano is so beautiful it’s feels like a fairytale.

We liked everything about Castell Rundegg. The property is amazing and even more outstanding are the staff, which are all friendly, professional and welcoming. Special mention to Davide for all his tips on what to do and Daniele who is the best aqua gym trainer I’ve ever experienced.
