Il Castellucio is probably the best family owned small luxury hotel we've ever been to. Breath taking location - a mountain creek running by, an oak forest all around, lavender fields and olive trees. A green paradise in the heart of Tuscany. We loved everything about our stay. The breakfast spread is generous. There’s a lot of choices and the staffs are so kind to accommodate anything you might need. The room is big and beyond our expectations. We were 3 and there’s a lot of space. We loved the complimentaries and the helpful staff. The front desk helped us request for a cab back to the station. Location wise, it’s superb! 10 mins walk from Firenze main station. 8 mins walk to A’ccademia and 3-5 mins walk to Duomo. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Nestled in beautiful countryside with breathtaking views, this is a lovingly restored property. Our room was a 'small double room' but still absolutely comfortable with a small garden and right by the fantastic pool. The host family is very accommodating and helpful with any concerns.
