My family and I had such a wonderful time at Coastline Mirissa. It is a gorgeous hotel, staff are so accommodating, the food is delicious there and the views are amazing. The owners were really lovely too. My children loved seeing the monkeys and feeding the fish everyday and there is a lift up and down to the hotel which makes for a fun adventure for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

The family who owns the place is so nice- they have arranged everything from whale watching tour to tuktuk drive. The location of the hotel is great, rooms are comfortable and clean and have nice jungle view, you can watch monkeys playing on the trees from the balcony. We liked the hotel so much we reserved it also for our second stay in Mirissa.

We just left the place and I have to say, this was the best stay we had! The room is amazing, big, with great mosquito net, A/C and big bathroom. The breakfast WAS SO GOOOD. I liked everything here: 1) host Dilan and his team, they were so much helpful and ensured perfect atmosphere for our short stay in Mirissa 2) food- delicious with very reasonable prices, comparing to other restaurants and hotels nearby 3) rooms are clean and cozy 4) wonderful atmosphere still and calm 5) place is hidden so during our stay it was not super crowded 6)beach- great sandy beach with coral rif nearby

The host family were so incredibly kind. The room was lovely with all the amenities listed. The location was perfect for me. It was a quick walk to the beach but on a quiet road. Would very happily stay there again. Because the family have so many tall mature trees it is also a lot cooler in the garden which was a welcome treat on hot days.

his was our best hotel out of 5 hotels we visited during our 2 week stay in Srilanka. my family consists of 2+2, and the ocean suite on the ground floor was perfect for us. It has direct access to the beach, pool and restaurant through the terrace window which is great when you have kids. The water in the pool is very warm so my kids spend long hours there, it also has two shallow areas which can be great for toddlers or for sunbathing in the shallow water. It is about 20 feet long so it was great for swimming too. The sunbeds were very comfortable and the view of the ocean was perfect. The breakfast consisted of coffee or tea, fresh juice, a fruit plate, a choice of muffin, croissants or my favorite banana bread and one of 11 amazing breakfasts a la carte. As for the noise from the street it wasn't a problem for me, you only notice it during the day if you want to spend some time in silence in your room. When you are next to the pool you will not hear it. At night drivers don't use their horns and the noise from the street is similar to the sound of ocean waves. I regret that I couldn't stay longer.

Set among tropical gardens with flowers, ponds and hammocks, Spice House is a colonial-style hotel a 2-minute walk from Mirissa Beach.
