Very nice place, super close to Sigirya Rock. The room was clean and the hosts were super kind and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!

What an amazing experience staying at this hotel. It felt like they had thought of everything from live music, magicians, music in the bathrooms and such a beautiful setting in the forest/jungle. The monkeys are so fun to watch especially the ones with the black faces. Yes this hotel is on the higher price point but it’s worth it for the atmosphere and attention from the many staff. Everything can be arranged by the reception with many experiences or a tuk tuk if you need to go to Dambulla. The buffet dinner is amazing with so much to choose from and of high quality and the buffet breakfast is delicious also.

The Shakshuka breakfast was delicious, also the pasta dinner ~ as good as in Italy. Bed so comfortable, setting very peaceful. Pool was perfect for cooling down in the middle of the day and I loved watching monkeys swing through the trees while reading on a pool lounger. The owner arranged a jeep safari for me at local Eco Park ~ it was awesome to see elephants up so close!

The hotel was awesome! First we were welcomed with refreshing wipes and nice juices. They also made some kind of nice ritual with candles. Then we went to our room,which was so big,clean and comfy. Also we had a bathtub on the balcony. There was super big mango garden,where you can take walks and you can visit the nearby lake. There were several activities like big beautiful chess and ping pong. The food was a great combination of traditional and international food. It had great presentation and was delicious. The best thing in this hotel was THE STAFF. Everyone was so nice, always there to help you and assist. They were always smiling. We loved the manager,the cleaning ladies,all the girls from reception and restaurant. So nice! We reallyliked a girl named Sachini, which was mainly on the ba, she was super nice. My personal favorite one though was the NATURALIST!!! Her name was Sithumi. We definitely recomend going on the safari tour with her. She was so so so nice,always helping out and she knew so much about all animals! She saw birds for maybe 2 seconds and already knew the kind! So impressive! She was caring for all of us so much! Definitely recomend this hotel and we would love to come back❤️

The room was perfekt with a big comfy bed and a nice bathroom. I loved the place because it was quiet and peaceful bit you are in a few minutes in the centre where you can eat. Every sightseeing is in walking distance and its the perfect place to take a walk and enjoy the day. The family was super lovely and nice, could‘nt ask for more. It felt like a little SriLanka Home. They will also help you with everything and show you around places. Was one of my best stays while travelling!

We loved the hotel and surroundings in the jungle. The stuff was really kind, helpful and professional, the rooms are spectacular tree houses with paths between, pretty new and fresh.The pool, jacuzzi and sauna is ideal addition to our pleasant stay.

We are family with 3 years old child. Normally we are looking for spacious and clean rooms. Tropicara provided exactly what we were looking for. Rooms are operated by very nice and friendly family. Comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast and dinner that we ate there were delicious!

Hosts were very friendly & helpful. Gave us a big cold bottle of water on arrival. The homestay is in peaceful area surrounded by greeery just a short walk to the town centre & restaurants. The property appears to be fairly new. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable & colourful. Great AC and mosquito net provided. Bathroom was new, clean and had a hot shower hot & good pressure. Breakfast was nice. Sri Lankan style  pancakes, noddles & fruit. We also had to ammend our booking and the hosts were very accommodating. Great value for money, would definitely recommend.
