Place is located in Tissamaharama, maybe 2km of center but you have everything in for short stay. We spent 1 night before going to safari. Welcome drink - coconaut is something extra that we did not expect. Rooms has AC, fans, hot water, you can order meals and drinks. We enjoyed very much. Owner is helpfull, very nice man. House is very clean, rooms also.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality from Sanjeewa and his family. He picked us up from the railway station and back. Moonlight is located in a peaceful and serene area surrounded by stunning greenery of rise plantations and little green islands of palm trees, which made a truly tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The room is clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need for the stay. Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine for breakfast and dinner, one of the best we had in SL. His family is expirienced in safary trips, be sure you book with them, you will see all the animals and Sanjeewa will provide you with free lunch, snacks and soft drinks. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our stay, we will come back one day...

A really special place, by a lake, with beautiful views and the sounds of nature around. Food was very good, especially the breakfast. Bed was really comfortable and the room (tent) dark. Staff were very helpful including by providing an enormous packed breakfast.

Lovely room, very good price, and the Safari was excellent. However, best of all was the people. They are very friendly and super welcoming - I tried some of their Curd, it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Shine Park if you are thinking of coming to Yala!

Loved our short stay at Doubletree. The rooms are spacious and the property as a whole was very clean and well maintained. Meals were good but the restaurant staff deserve a special mention - especially Harsha - as he went above and beyond to take care of our family. The pool is a highlight - absolutely huge with an excellent shallow area on one side and swim up pool on the other. Pool staff were very attentive and friendly. Slightly further from the Yala Block 1 and Block 5 entrances but not a dealbreaker. Property as a whole is very luxurious and upscale. Would stay again!

If you plan to visit Yala national park, this will be great choice to stay. The accomodation is nice, clean snd 2 minutes from the beach. The owner has build it all by himself. He is super kind, helpful and the best cook! Really recommend to have dinner at his place - we had red snapper and it was delicious. He can also organise for you the safari tour.
