We lived in the authentic house/villa which was outstanding. Near the villa, there were many historical cars – old Porsches, Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz and others. We enjoyed the pool near the main building of vineyard with comfy sunbeds. The nearby little towns gave us very pleasant food experiences. Just ask the reception of the recommendations.

Marta and Raquel welcomed us at check in. they were most hospitable and professional! Marta served us your famous port wine upon arrival. she gave us helpful with suggestions re sights to visit. we enjoyed the full view of the Duoro River from our balconies of our premium deluxe rooms. your restaurant staff were friendly, for example, Bruno Ribeiro, Justin Timberlake, lookalike, service's was attentive and responsive. we enjoyed our meals. breakfast was delicious as well. the rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. bathroom was modern and spotless. towels were soft and white. free indoor parking was secured with easy access. the location is private and serene. highly recommend.

The location... the pictures don't even do it justice, it's outstanding. The pools were glorious. And the staff, muito obrigada to each and every one of you, you made our stay so pleasant. It's so luxurious yet so relaxed, and ideal for children.

We liked being in the beautiful town of Penafiel to visit our relatives. I liked the hotel, pool and staff. It was interesting that different football teams came to stay. Being from the UK it was good that we had parking available too.
