Spa Hotels in Funchal

Excellent hotel with views over Funchal. We spent a week hiking around Maderia and this hotel was fantastic to come back to each afternoon and relax by the outdoor pool and spa. The outdoor pool was great, a nice little sun trap and we didn't struggle for a seat for the whole week. The indoor spa was amazing - really great facilities with the steam room and sauna, 4 seasons shower and warmer indoor pool. The room with a view over Funchal was also excellent.

Amazing breakfast, swimming pool (indoor and out), sauna and Turkish bath. Large rooms and all amenities were great!

Very smart hotel in central funchal location. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very nice public spaces in which to relax. Great bar. Indoor pool and steam/sauna in basement. Good breakfast. Good value for money. We would definitely stay here again if returning to fFunchal

We had a wonderful relaxing stay here! Would definitely recommend! We had a sea view room which was great to watch the sunrise. We used the spa facilities and had a massage all of which was very good. The hotel was very clean and every member of staff we came across was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful and they served it early too which was great for when we were off early for a hike. Parking was also easy and lots of spaces. Can’t fault this hotel.

Wonderful hotel, big pool, kind staff, delicious breakfakt and also rooftop hot tub with exceptional view. You can enjoy drinks and food in the pool bar. Hotel also offers activities for free like yoga, wine tasting, live music, sometimes in the evening it is possible to watch movie next to the pool.. There is also gym, indoor pool and sauna. You can also enjoy great massage (35€/30min).

We loved: - The food at breakfast and dinner (we tried all the restaurants and all were good). - The staff at Mamma Mia restaurant and Casa restaurant, so friendly and lovely. - The massages - we did a relaxing couples spa and it was great. - The location and access to swim in the sea. - The pools - The room had a great view of the ocean, and was overall a good room. Great bedsize.

They offer some gluten free/lactose free/vegan options on the buffet style breakfast. Really good selection of cocktails in the hotel bar (they also have a happy hour from 6-7:30). Decent swimming pool/sauna area to relax after a long hike and admire the views. There is also quite spacious parking available on the premise.
