The check-in area for the Preferred guests was fantastic. We waited for a while to get checked in, but we enjoyed a welcome drink and fresh snacks, and the view from the balcony while waiting. The receptionist Sara made our stay unforgettable by arranging a surprise - an extremely personalized and well-thought dessert at the end of our birthday dinner. Sara's colleagues who presented us the dessert were also very friendly, professional and kind. This hotel has amazing facilities, absolutely outstanding staff, and the most epic location so far. The food was top-notch and high quality, too. Everything was fantastic - the ice-cream bar, the restaurants, and even the buffet food. The views from the property are unforgettable.

Hotel directly in the old town of Funchal. All attractions in walking distance. Modern luxury hotel. Parking garage on site. We got an upgrade and had a beautiful room with a vew to the sea. Good breakfast. Liked the hotel bar with nightly music program. Got my dry martini cocktails served with the words "Here you go, Mr. Bond!". Friendly and professional staff.
