We stayed in one of the apartments. Absolutely everything was clean, new, fresh. The room was not overly decorated. There were no sounds from outdoors creeping in the room. For my taste, the uncluttered and not overly stylized room was a refreshing change to most hotels today. The room was bright, with a full golf course and oceanview and at the same time it was warm and tranquil and conducive to the most amazing sleep. The kitchen was well equipped, everything anyone could need in a small kitchen was provided, from dishes and cups to a dishwasher, microwave, an oven, hand mixer and coffee machine, all beautifully hidden in modern furniture. All dishware and flatware by Vista Alegre! (top makers in Portugal and Western Europe). The bathroom was ample with plenty of storage space for all of our travel essentials. Most hotels fail to provide space for the guest's own items. FANTASTIC towels, toiletries, and linens. A soap dish! What a treat! A simple little dish to keep the counter clean and avoid soap scum on the counter. Hot water on command and a real, air conditioner, not an air circulation system that only blows cool air in the summer. This was a model room. Congratulations on the design.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful . We felt at home in the hotel . We loved our large suite it was superb only thing bad weather . Food we had at the hotel and the golf club house was lovely and breakfast I loved it wide variety of fruits cheeses breads eggs muesli etc and the beds very comfortable and excellent pillows . Definitely will come back again .

It is not often we say we will go back to the same place again - VSS is one of those places - absolutely superb from Top to Bottom and something for everyone. We have a list of "we will only book if" and this place ticks it all beach access (nice walk there), pool, aircon, bbq and space. The rooftop(top) bbq was properly used and is so special while watching the sunset. Everything was supplied and in top condition (a few shutter hiccups but nothing unresolved). Lourinha and surrounds also a superb spot with great beaches and restaurants and things to do. Lastly a hats off to Ruth - above and beyond the call of duty - thanks Angel

Very nice and well equipped house also with swimming pool. The host was very helpful with everything we need. Location is very quiet and close to Baleal.

Excellent sized rooms. Staff professional and friendly. Exterior swimming pool was a good size, well maintained. Enjoyed being allowed our own privacy. Fantastic buffet restaurant.

Absolutely outstanding!! The concierge always went out of his way to assist us even bringing us a beach towel to the entrance door and the restaurant and chef, well no words to describe their attention to detail and making us feel so at home with little chats after our meals. Truly 5 stars!!
