The existing reviews stating how great this place is are not wrong! Chosen for this reason, we were not disappointed! Tikitams is, without doubt, five star. The staff do everything they can to welcome you and attend to your every need. The hotel is quite remote and certainly not for those looking for exciting nightlife. It's quiet and, most evenings, everyone was back in their rooms by 9pm. But if you're looking for quiet and calmness, where all you hear are the sounds of monkeys and bush babies, this is the place for you. The food is delicious and there is good variety. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Someone comes in every evening to turn down the bed. Afternoon tea is served every day at 5pm. The bar is a lovely space and cocktails and beer reasonably priced. We were offered a complimentary face, neck and back massage at the spa which was a real treat and outstanding. The staff are amazing. Two examples: 1. We were going on an excursion that involved swimming. Knowing pool towels were provided at the hotel, we had not brought our own. Unsure what we could take for excursion, we planned to ask at reception prior to leaving. We got to reception, ready to depart, and there was the receptionist with towels, anticipating our need without our even asking. 2. We wanted to use the pool table just off the restaurant. It is outside. When we got there, there was a large flying insect sitting on the table top. I got pool cue to encourage it to fly away. From out of the shadows, a massai warrior (I kid you not; they are the security team for the hotel) appeared, removed said insect, and disappeared into the shadows again. Not sure if he continued to observe our bad pool-playing or not because he was undetectable again. All you hear from all who work at Tikitams is 'You're welcome!' and 'Makuna matata'. We had a fantastic four days! I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all!

Evrything...The staff, the view, the garden, the pool...evrything The staff was very friendly and attentive (especially the lady who served the breakfest evry morning, she knew the coffee order day by day) thanks a lot. Management was also friendly so I realy appreciate it. So it was a perfect holiday!

The breakfast was standard but delicious. The rooms were comfy and quiet. The location was purely serene. The staff was very helpful and kind. The mangroves surrounding the area were just beautiful. I really felt relaxed amid the peaceful environment.

The staff was exceptionally pleasant, cooperative & helpful. I have not seen such professional, helpful & great staff anywhere in the world and I have visited dozens of countries. Petra (the manager), Juice (the chief cheff), all the reception, housekeeping, restaurant staff, I mean they are all from heaven...they'll die to help you & make you comfortable & 😊.     We stayed for 4 nights following safari in Kenya. It was our honeymoon and the hotel surprised us with a lovely display on the bed using flower petals, fruit basket and a bottle of sparkling wine in the room. The hotel manager greeted us and said goodbye on our departure, a nice personal touch. Great place to relax, we did use the gym once, new machines in excellent working order, gym room could be bigger however for a quick workout is fine.

    Location, staff, overall experience was great, good place to relax, good location to explore the island when you hire a car, jetty and restaurant the Club was another bonus, water sports at the Club (SUP, kayaks available), very good breakfast with a lot to choose from, good wifi, free coffee and cookies about 4pm everyday, free snacks at 18:30 every night, Masai night was lovely, high chairs available, every single staff personnel was so friendly and always smiling, totally recommend.
